A GUIDE TO CAR DETAILING BAYS
aka. What you should be looking for from a car detailing company.
In an era where every company is prone to singing its own praises on their website, we adopt a different approach. We invite you to engage with us directly, potentially to tour our purpose-designed facility and witness the quality of our work first-hand. You be the judge of us. In doing so, we hope you gain an insight into the reasons why our customers regard us so highly. When we do any work on your vehicle, we want to control the space around it. That means; A sealed detailing bay (1 sealed bay per car) where we completely control the environment. No direct sunlight as this gives temperature fluctuations. No open areas or breeze as this allows tiny dust particles to float around & get under the paint protection film. No dust, for obvious reasons, but when we at Autotrilogy say "no dust" we really do mean.. NO dust. Stable temperature, the materials we work with are designed to be installed within a set of parameters for the best results. Spotlessly clean environment. Nothing in the air, on the floor, on the materials or tools etc. Well lit environment. Shadows are the enemy when we're working. Read on below to see why. We're serious when we say we're aiming for perfection and we've put a lot of time, thought, and yes... money, into having our car detailing / ppf bays built to a very exact specification just for us. A SEALED ENVIRONMENT
All of our bays are sealed off from the outside via a set of full height triple doors with dust seals around the frame.

REMOVING DUST FROM THE AIR
All of our detailing bays have their own dedicated dust removal systems. A high end ceiling mounted air filtration system which extracts dust out of the air at a fast rate.
It's able to filter incredibly small particles out of the air, which dramatically reduces the risk of any getting under the paint protection film and combined with our other control systems helps to ensure a perfect finish for our customers.

REMOVING DUST FROM THE GROUND
Tiny particles are removed from the air by the air filtration systems whilst the heavier particles are trapped beneath our floor tiles. With overlapping grids, any form of dust / debris drops beneath the surface and is then contained in the lower grid section.

We vacuum the detailing bays between every vehicle to ensure the floor areas are spotless.
ENHANCED LIGHTING
Having a well lit detailing bay makes installation so much easier for us. Shadows are literally the enemy (along with dust) of ppf installers as they hide little imperfections. We need to see those imperfections in your paint so we can fix them before we install paint protection film.As

I have used Autotrilogy for the last 3 years. They have provided full PPF on all my cars. Some are: Jeep TrackHawk, Mustang Bullitt, Toyota Yaris GR, 2 992 Porsche 911 Turbo S’s, 2 Porsche Taycan Turbo S’s.
They’ve just completed my 992 Porsche GT3 touring & are booked to carry out the same for my forthcoming Audi RS6 Performance due in May & another Taycan Sport Cross Turismo Turbo S due in April. I accept nothing less than perfection in the work they carry out which is always, without exception excellent. I’ve never had to go back to have re-work done. The attention to detail is quite extraordinarily good. I’m saying all this as a totally independent person who has nothing to gain in terms of kickbacks or rewards. I just feel that dedicated hard work & exceptional service needs to be shared.
I will continue to use Autotrilogy & as you will tell from this review I am very pleased with the work they carry out.
